Permit Issuers Training
Corporations that chose to issue their own safety permits must be confident that their permit issuers are competent in three areas. Issuers must know the area of expertise through experience, be able to delegate in a safe and effective manner, and be familiar with the appropriate government legislation.
This program, which is designed to cover all these areas, includes:
- Contents of the confined space permit system
- Contents of the hot work permit system
- Review of clients’ safe work policies and procedures
- Summary of duties and responsibilities of the permit issuer
- Overview of personal protective equipment
- Overview of fall protection program
- Rescue pre-planning

Duration: 16 hours
Participation: Maximum 20
Certification: HSE certificate
Expiry: 3 years
